DOC Reserva Branco 2012

Douro DOC Reserve White 2012: This wine was produced in long non-oxidative fermentation process, with temperature control, from grapes of the Viosinho, Códega and Malvasia varieties, in order to preserve their unique primary aromas. Also, to enhance complexity, 20% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels for two months.

It displays a wonderful citrus colour. This wine reveals delicate and intense aromas of tropical flowers and fruits (passion fruit and pineapple), with mineral notes and light shades of wood. In the mouth it feels fresh, light, well balanced and youthful, with a persistent finish.

It is ideal to go along fish, seafood and white meat dishes. Serve and drink at 8-10 degrees ºC.
